So This week started a blender house I saw on youtube from polygon runway

and so far it's going great! , I started with the wall and floor layout and started to make to Couch/Sofa.

Wall and Floor:

Couch/Sofa Part 1: I started to scale the sofa size

Part 2:

Part 3:

So now its time to Subsurface the Couch/ sofa:

So after I made the couch using subsurfacing I started on the cushion/pillows:

added the throw pillows:

then added the back and side cushion with copy and paste for more feel and we have a couch/sofa! :

So now it was time for me to make the TV, si just used a made plane on the wall and extrude and bevel it to make the shape, then I thought to myself lets make it into an entertainment room and added wall speakers and a shelf.

After:

Now that I have my setup going good I wanted to add some more assets in, so Ii made a bottle and an ornament and a flower pot.

Flower Pot :

Now my task for next week is to add flooring and more assets to this room.

So this week i learned to use UV unwrapping and i put the wood flooring which looks very nice!

Next, I decided to UV Unwrap a subwoofer I made and texture pain the front and it came out Wonderful!:

Left:

Back:

from there I added the texture to the wall and now it looks seriously good.

So now I need to get back to modeling the rest of the room and start on the next room!

This week I added a table and entertainment table, one on the wall and one on floor, added some pictures on the wall and TV, and made a PC.

Now here is my Current Progress:

So This week I started on an Xbox one controller & it's working out fairly well, so I had to get the outline which was kinda difficult but it came out good.

then I did the buttons, joystick, and D-pad that came out so so well:

So I had to form the controller to have more shape from there I stared at the top triggers then seprated triggers:

now I'm currently working on the bottom triggers:

So I Separated The bottom Triggers and make some cuts to the top Triggers, to make more embedded with the controller, I want to add a cut to the middle to make the USB slot but I think that should be done at a later time. Now wanted to form the controller a bit more so I added the subdivision modifier to give it a more curved shape by moving the vertex's around to make the shape more round.

Example:

The vertex model:

Trigger view:

Back view:

So far it's been kinda difficult to get the form to look kinda round and bulky to make it look like a real controller that can fit in your hands but for now, it's a start. So my goal next is now to make the shape and move on to the buttons and materials.

So this week I worked on making the indent and lip to the controller, the problem I had was trying to make it have the layout of the ridges look, So I added more vertexes to make the lip have more shape and fullness around the trigger area,

Before:

After:

The Vertex I moved:

Ridges for the trigger area:

SideLine for the controller :

Now for next week's agenda, I will have to add more roundness to the top of the controller to make it more of an Xbox one controller, then it's back to the buttons!

Let's see this week I was working on lifting on the controller until I got burned out but I switch things up and did some research on looking at the next room when I'm finished with the current one.

Here's the vid :

So before I start on the next room I need to put some more assets in the current room,

and one of the things is a plant ...yes a plant.

So I started by making a single Vert and extruding it to have the outside shape of the cup

Single Vert:

Cup outline:

now that the pot is done I need to seal it with some dirt, So I used a Circle laided on top of it and used the fill tool.

Finished Pot:

Circle tool & Filled:

So now I had to make a Plant Leaf so I use a Bezier circle tool and started to form it into a heart shape along another single vert.

Bezier circle:

Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3&4:

Now that the leaf has a heart shape it will have 5 verts, so I deleted 2 to make 3 that so i can bend the plant leaf any way I wish it to be

Plant leaf:

With the leaf, you can you proportional editing to bend it or move the vert up or down on the circle to make it bend.

So this week I've been working this the final part of the house since Sunday (yes SUNDAY), so for 1 week I challenged my self to make how the blender capstone house looks like and, so far its be exceptionally well and I have no issues so far except for WHAT ELSE TO PUT!

So I started out with basic shapes and look at a video but this is the "groundwork"

Now after a few hours of mistakes food, water, brain thinking, and teacher help this is the current phase of where the house is :

Now my focus is now on to think what else should be on this house, (Patio, Car etc)

So this week I did the patio and chairs and it always does come out great

Chair:

Patio Table :

So for next week I have to think of more stuff or modifications to think about for the house!
